ISCO In Situ Chemical Oxidation

In situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) is a new and promising remediation technology.
By means of the direct injection of an oxidant into the aquifer, contaminants in the soil are decomposed by chemical oxidation.
This process is much faster than biodegradation.

To further accelerate the remediation, the combination of ISCO with hydraulic measures is recommended.

We supply ready-to-operate, mobile dosing systems fitted in containers which are equipped with storage vessels, a drain tray, dispensers, dosing pumps, a mixing device and a controlling system.

The plants comply with the current legal requirements for the storage and application of the partly aggressive chemicals.

We employ various oxidants for ISCO.

For ISCR (in situ chemical reduction), for instance, molasses is injected into the aquifer.
