Dual und Triple Phase Extraction

This technology makes it possible to slurp light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPL) without lowering the water table in a considerable way. It also provides the opportunity to extract dense non-aqueous phase liquids (DNAPL) under the water surface or to dry up small aquifers.

The extraction of the phases is achieved through manually or automatically adjustable suction lances, which are built into the wells. A vacuum generator provides the necessary negative pressure and extracts or slurps the liquid through suction lances. When the surface of the liquid in the well reaches the lower edge of the suction lance, the unsaturated zone is purified simultaneously by soil vapour extraction >> „bioslurping”.
Multiple phase extraction is suitable for wells and groundwater measuring points with a nominal width of > 1 inch.
